Franz Grosz Large Serving Platter, Must See This One!

$38.99

Franz Grosz an American glass artist who has his work in the famous Corning Glass Museum in New York. Sand Carving was a glass art form that was done in the 1940s. His work resembles Dorothy Thorpe (see our Thorpe listings) who also did a lot of Sand Carving.

Very difficult to find piece by this great Glass Artist. Grosz did Sand Carving in the 1940's for companies like Heisey, Tiffin and more. Signed pieces by him are becoming extremely hard to find.

This piece is lovely with the design carved on the back of the item. His full signature appears on the edge of the front. This Platter or Serving Tray measures 15 1/2 inches in diameter with no chips, cracks or scratches. We have it priced very, very reasonable as you will find very few of his pieces on eBay much more expensive.
